Medal 4 Mettal TNT Partnership

Are you training for an upcoming endurance event and looking to put our mission behind your miles? We are working with Medal 4 Mettell and local hospitals to meet and interact with local patients who are currently being treated for a blood cancer. Our goal is to stay in contact with these patients throughout our training. We will then present these real life heroes with our medals at the end of our event. We also are gathering your already earned race medals that you are willing to donate for another initiative through this partnership. If you have marathon, half marathon, century ride, or triathlon medals that you would like to donate, please contact Justin Schell at:

Pittsburgh Marathon 2010

We are committed to have a strong purple presence both on the marathon course as runners and as supporters. There are MANY areas that you can get involved to show Pittsburgh what an amazing mission we have filled with wonderful compassionate people who strive to help out our heroes with blood cancers. Girls on the Run Buddy Runners Needed!!!

Girls on the Run is looking for 'buddy runners' who will run with, encourage and help keep an eye on one to three Girls on the Run runners while they complete their end of season 5k at the Jingle Bell Run on 12/12/09. ALL proceeds go to Project Bundle Up.

$10 per person/$15 per family
