Volunteers Needed for Pittsburgh Marathon Water Stop Team in Training is sponsoring the water stop at mile 3.5. We need approximately 30 volunteers to assist with the water stop. You will need to arrive by 6:15 am, but should be completed with your responsibilities by approximately 8:45 am. What a great opportunity! We are planning to line the South Side trail on April 5 th during the group training with purple power! We want to provide a SURPRISE motivational atmosphere for our current participants during their long run that weekend! Pittsburgh Marathon Shirts on Sale NOW! The Alumni Club is selling Pittsburgh Marathon shirts to raise funds for LLS. These are tech shirts, and a great way to donate to our cause! They are $20. Also, a current participant can receive a $10 credit towards their fundraising if you complete a form with your purchase. Pittsburgh Adventure Triathlon—July 26th Up for a challenge? Train for the Pittsburgh Adventure Tri with the best TEAM around! Kayak, Bike, & Run for OUR cause! Fundraising goal will be approximately $500, and this includes your kayak rental, event registration, and of course 75% goes back to LLS for our mission. This opportunity is open to Alumni first! Weeknight Informal Run on the PITTSBURGH MARATHON Course—April 1 st! The alumni club invites you for an evening run on the Pittsburgh Marathon course. Running routes up to 8 miles with maps provided that day. We will meet at 6:30 pm outside of the David Lawrence Convention Center. Run will start at 6:45 pm. Join us for dinner/drinks afterwards! E-vite will follow with final details.

Max & Erma’s Night Thursday, March 19 at the Downtown Stanwix St reet Location ONLY hosted by Melissa of the Tahoe Team. This event runs all day. Attached are the coupons for the event. Hula at the Luau Thursday, March 19 at the Hard Rock Café located in Station Square Judy of the San Diego Team is hosting a Luau Happy Hour. Doors open at 5 pm and the show starts at 6:30 pm. It is a $10 donation for adults and kids under 12 are FREE. With the donation you get to take part in the Happy Hour specials from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm . They are ½ off draft beers and well drinks, and $4.00 appetizer specials. Also included in the admission is the Hula Show with an authentic live band, your chance to learn how to Hula, and you will automatically be entered to win fun prizes!
