Pittsburgh Marathon Water Stop & Purple Power Zone

With the slight changes to the Pittsburgh Marathon course, the TNT sponsored water stop will now be at mile 4.1.  If you had signed up to volunteer, you should have received an email from Celeste Pagano, Alumni TNT VP.  If you haven’t, or would still like to volunteer, please contact her:  Weasel28@hotmail.com.

Pittsburgh Marathon Shirts on Sale NOW!

It’s not too late to get your OFFICIAL TNT PITTSBURGH MARATHON SHIRT!  The Alumni Club is still selling Pittsburgh Marathon shirts!  These are short sleeved tech shirts, and a great way to donate to our cause!  They are $20.  Also, a current participant can receive a $10 credit towards their fundraising if you complete a form with your purchase.  For more information and the form, follow this link to the Alumni Club website:

Pittsburgh Adventure Triathlon—July 26th

Up for a challenge?  Train for the Pittsburgh Adventure Tri with the best TEAM around!  Kayak, Bike, & Run for OUR cause!  Fundraising goal will be approximately $500, and this includes your kayak rental, event registration, and of course 75% goes back to LLS for our mission.  This opportunity is open to Alumni only!

Weeknight Informal Run on the PITTSBURGH MARATHON Course—April 14th!

We had a great response to our last evening run.  So, we're doing it again!  The alumni club invites you for another evening run on the Pittsburgh Marathon course. This time we are going to conquer the FORBES HILL!  Running routes for 6 & 8 miles with maps provided that day.  We will meet at 6:30 pm in the parking lot of UPMC Sports Performance Center.  Run will start at 6:45 pm.  Dinner/drinks at Double Wide Grill on East Carson Street afterwards.  See your e-vite for more details.

 Buckhead Saloon Happy Hour

Friday, April 17th at Buckhead Saloon in Station Square from 5 pm - 9 pm. It benefits Melissa of the Tahoe Team.  For a $5 donation you receive a $10 coupon towards your Buckhead food bill that evening. Buy as many as you'd like! There will also be a 50/50 raffle!

 Harp and Fiddle Guest Bartending

Becky of the Pittsburgh Team is guest bartending at Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle, 2324 Penn Avenue in the Strip District from 7 pm - 10 pm on Thursday, April 16. There will be live music and a 50/50 as well as other raffle items!

 Golf Outing

The Library restaurant and bar is sponsoring a golf outing to benefit LLS. It will be Friday, May 8 at the Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Gibsonia.  South Side Charity Bar Crawl

The 6th Annual "FILL THE MUG" CHARITY BAR CRAWL will be held  Saturday, May 16, 2009, from 4-11 PM. Starts at Shootz Cafe on East Carson St. Come help Cycle Coach--Donald Splitstone raise money and awareness for a very good cause:  to help in the fight against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and other Blood Related Cancers. Leigh from the Pittsburgh and San Diego Team is holding a Zumba FUNdraising event on Monday, April 20th, 6:30 pm - 8pm @ The Reformed Presbyterian Church, 606 Thompson Run Road (North Hills Area). $10 class, $15 Donation.  Lace Up

Melissa of the Tahoe Team is taking orders for Yankz! laces. They come in white and plum will have white tabs and the TNT Logo! They are $8/pair.  To order, contact Melissa directly by calling 724-513-3231 or emailing melhop89@hotmail.com.  Make sure to specify the color.  As soon as she gets a group of orders, she will order them and some extras. She will then either deliver them to the TNT office or for an extra buck send them out in the mail.
